These data sources all have free APIs and would add good additional intelligence to the SpiderFoot platform.

So I just started playing with the software and I like it. However it seems I can choose e.g. social media and profile modules without choosing other modules that collect the information those modules run on, hence the scan will just "run dry" and complete instantly.
A nice feature would be if the software forced/informed the user to choose relevant modules that go together and need each other.1 vote

The ability to do a quick preview scan of a site - just spider links and mark discovered broken links
This coupled with the ability to exclude links to follow could help ensure full scans run successful on larger sites without wasting so much time. Basically spider all site internal links out to external sites one page . This information could also be useful for link audits as well.6 votes
Some sights have language switchers, and other links that we would want to avoid following, as they can lead to incomplete scans due to all the links previously scanned becoming invalid. Also the ability to exclude some of the known links could speed up the scan. I envision this as a simple interface where you can enter the URL for the link(s) and a place to remove/edit links.5 votes
